In addition, he will rock the blue tie (below), along with the other groomsmen.  FI & the best man will rock the pink & blue. 

 

 

Last but not least, one of my flower girls mom has a side business at Stella & Dot, so these little bracelets were purchased from her and will be given to our flower girls on the wedding day.  The rings (flower) are still on back order

Traumatized!!  So, today was my scheduled planning meeting with my Wedding Planner, Beatriz in the Miami Office.  We were supposed to meet at 12:30pm today to go over all my questions, book locations, and go over all the wedding details.  Well, I didnt hear anything from her and I called the Miami office and they told me she no longer works there!!!  What!!!  And no one called to reschedule or anything?  So, she proceeds to tell me that 'Kalena' is now my wedding planner and she is really a on-site wedding coordinator.  And from what I have read on this site about planning with Kalena, I am in for a nightmare!!!  Stressed already about this because now I have no one to answer all my questions.  I already called Kalena and left a message, and about to send a follow-up email to see when we can discuss, but if anyone has any advice or has worked with Kalena and has some good news....please let me know.  Right now, I"m feeling traumatized!!  Maybe I should give her a fair chance though.....sigh!  My wedding is June 14th, so I am within the 90 day window.

We met with Kalena when we went to Moon Palace for our site visit last year. She was great. She seemed on top of everything. She told us that as long as she was still working at MP when our wedding comes around, she would be our coordinator. She gave me her card, and we have exchanged emails since. She is sometimes slow to return emails, but seems to be very organized. I think you are in good hands with Kalena.

Oh my, I wish I had kale a. I had Beatriz as my wedding co ordinator. Then, did not hear anything for two weeks. Then I was passed to my onside wedding co ordinator who is daniela Lara. She only has in her contract half of the things I had already organised. It's the big stuff as well mariachi band, photography package, Colin Crowe collection for private function. And here's the biggey!! Unlimited private functions. Last time I heard from her was Thursday last week. So yes, a week ago. Still not got back to me and confirmed the above. I am getting stressed now as getting married in less than 40 days. I was under the impression everything should be signed and sealed so to speak by now. Can anyone provide me with clarification on this? Sent her an email this morning that I was deeply frustrated my her lack of communication. I understand that weddings are a daily routine to her. But obviously not to me. I understand they have their way of doing things. But, come on,!!, need some correspondence. I Anyway, enough about me. If anyone needs me to send them the new 2012 wedding PDF, locations of ceremony or functions, PSAv info, violinist reporters, hor de p Oeuvres menu, buffet menu, optional services or anything else send me your email address. I'm so sorry to hear that!! Prayers to you & your family!!

Well ladies.. I need some prayers. My father passed away on friday and if any of you remember, my nana passed away in January so it's a really tough time for our family. We are continuing with the wedding because that is what he would have wanted but I definitely need prayers!!

Beatriz is no longer there. You will need to contact Janina to get reassigned to someone else. Sorry to bring stressful bad news to you on a Friday!! My new coordinator is Cristina but I have yet to hear from her. We are 78 days out. I was supposed to have a call scheduled with Beatriz on April 2 to get things finalized but I don't know where that stands now.
