Shane I can't believe u found a dress. Did I miss the post??? Which one?? pics pics. text me a pic for God sakes lol. The dress is with the seamstress lol. You know that child wants to test my patience to the last second lol. It will be ready on Friday or saturday and I will def text u pics. U saved me from an absolute nightmare. 

 

Coco it's all good- it's a running joke because I always think I know everything and he laughs that I go running to u. when our weddings are all over we should all try to get together somewhere maybe a night out in Manhattan if you and Shane ever come this way or jersey maybe AC if you do that.

Chipmunk the parasols were something I wanted from the start also. I got the pink ones from luna bazaar and i love them - the mr & mrs I got from etsy and I am a little upset because the seams all have glue showing through and it kind of looks dirty. she offered to take them back but i waited so long i wouldn't have been able to get new ones without paying rush charges. i wish I would have done a color because i think it's the white because she said she got them from luna bazaar also and my pink ones don't have that. They are so cute though and the pink ones were like 7 or 8 dollars each and the mr & mrs was 35 with shipping so really not bad considering that i can use them for ceremony decor, pictures and than reception decor as well !! 

 

The pashminas are really pretty good quality and only 4 bucks. but the shipping was a little steep but my husband said he would rather pay shipping than drive into the city so that works for me lol. They say pashmina on them and they are really a nice size. I wanted to do pink ones and put them out at my reception but it is at the end of the week and i thought they could really use them all week and who wants pink pashminas so i got cream and black and I will put them in there bags.

 

Okay to clarify the shirt situation lmao he does not want to tuck this pink shirt in- he bought this pink shirt so he wouldn't have to wear the linen one i wanted him to wear UNTUCKED with his suit jacket over it. He has this thing about wearing a jacket without tucking in his shirt so this pink one he wants to wear without the jacket and untucked which i guess is the better option. apparently i can't get my way all the time and it is either a suit jacket with a tucked in shirt or the pink one untucked . why does he make me want to kill him right before my big day lol.

hell no girl. i am going to have to abandon a project or two since i have not even had a chance to think about packing my wardrobe lol. i should be packing right now but i am looking for last minute ideas and stupid groom pics lmao. I am ridiculously nervous to be honest. Can't sleep and crazy dreams lol. i am so worried about getting all this down there. i wonder if there is a fedex i can ship to that will hold it for me and i can get it when i get there. MY oot bags are so heavy they need 4 suitcases alone. this is really crazy. def did not think this through lol.

i don't even pretend to act like it's about anyone but me lmao. his mother says well it is apparently HER day because i always refer to it as such..that's right biotch lol glad we are all on the same page . you just let me know when and one nice summer evening i will plan us a fun filled night where we can share our planning nightmares lol.

Thanks girl! WOW! 10 days!!!!! How exciting! You will LOVE it! One suggestion: Walkie Talkies! That was the BIGGEST pain in the ass!!! No one wanted to use their cells because of roaming, and we didn't have a strict event timeline since we wanted people to do what they wanted during the day, AND of course no one spent any time in their rooms so it wasn't like you could catch people there...it made it REALLY hard to find everyone and not lose people if we needed to run and do something wedding related. People aren't kidding when they say this place is HUGE!

I NEED HELP PLEASE....... I'm getting married at the Moon Palace in October 2012. I booked the Sapphire Package early 2011.  I was all chilled out about it. Was happy that everything was taken care of didn't have to do a thing just turn up.

 

NOW with only 7 months to go I'm in complete panic. Someone please help me What are oot bags do i need them?

We have dinner reservations for 35 people. At first i thought this was great value now I'm wondering, is the wedding party going to be sitting with everyone else having dinner? Where will we have our first dance? What will we do once dinner is over? Also i only have 12 adult guests coming plus 8 young children. we are on a budget so i don't really want to spend out on a DJ or a function room. I'm getting really scared now and want to cancel the whole thing. My other concern is the Theme sapphire. I live in the UK and cannot get sapphire colored table runners or sashes, I'm not very creative but does anyone know if instead i could use Royal blue? if not what shade of blue would work best?  Sorry everyone i know I'm rambling but i need help.

You did an amazing job!!!! Could you tell me the wording on your maracas and what you used to make them?  Was the rafia easy to tie the tags onto the maracas?  Thanks!

The raffia was fine but i put a small glue dot on each one to make sure it stays in place. I got the glue dots from michaels they have all different sizes so the small ones and it comes in a dispenser so it is quick and easy and it makes sure the raffia doesn't fall off. The poems are:

To see the groom kiss his bride tonight

and

Rather than tapping on your glass,
Here’s a system with mexican class.
Stand and shake with all your might,
To see the bride kiss her groom tonight.

 

I used the second one and I got printable favor tags from Michaels (Gartner studios) and you can get any shape that has perforated edges. You go on a website that gives you either a blank template or all different templates with flowers or designs and you write in the poem and print them up- this tag even has a little hole so it was easy to tie it. I stamped mine with stamps and pink ink that I had anyway because I couldn't get a picture on them with the way the template is but I am not very good like that so you probably could and than I put our sticker on the back. They are so cute. one of my favorite things. I saw really nice hang tags that people had made up on etsy and i was thinking of doing it but I am running out of money lol.

   yes in the wedding aisle at Michaels there are all different types of tags and labels. They all have the website on the back of the package and u put in the UPC code and get free templates . make sure you get tags and not labels. i did that the first time and they were stickers lmao duhhh. really easy. if u need anything else just email me [email protected] I probably have the template if you get the same tags. Do a few practice runs on plain paper and measure it up to the tags before u waste any because it took me a few tries to line it up just right.
