My bachelorette party in AZ was an absolute blast.  I had a girly day with my MOH and we got our blow out and style for our hair and then went to Sephora and had a full face makeover.  Loved that!  Then, we painted our nails and the girls came over to her house.  All took a taxi to a great sushi place in downtown Scottsdale that is also a bar/club at night.  Then, we went to one of my favorite clubs there and danced for like 4 hours straight!!  No drama, all fun, and the girls were totally into it for a good time.  They said it was the best bachelorette party they'd been to!

Bridal shower was fantastic as well!  My girls and Mom did a fabulous job planning.  The theme was Mexican Christmas (since it was on Dec 28), and we had Mexican food, decorations, and they even made me wear a decorated sombrero, LOL!  Fun games, great gifts, it was fantastic.

And - dun, dun, dun, DUN!  We got married at the courthouse on the 27th!!  We still occasionally joke and put in the "wife" or "husband" word to each other and then say, "Shhhhh!"  Since it's a secret.  And we don't want to take away from our big day in Mexico!  But that was really special.  My Granny, who is 90 and definitely could not travel to Cancun, was there and it was wonderful.  I'll always have her signature on our marriage certificate!  And Gran and I went out to one of my favorite restaurants to celebrate afterwards (Casey had to go straight to the airport to fly back home for work).

All that said, I've still been DIYing my tooshie off and will post more projects soon.  For now, I'll post some pics of the FABULOUSLY STUNNING jewelry that Chelsea from Red-I made me that I adore to pieces!!!  I had my 2nd fitting for my dress today (will post these pics, too), and the jewelry matches perfectly!!  To anyone wondering what jewelry they will wear on their wedding day, or if you're thinking of buying your bridesmaids their jewelry for a gift, I can't recommend Chelsea enough.  She's been the most enjoyable part of this whole wedding process for me!  Professional, extremely savvy with her work, and a joy to work with!  Thanks, Chelsea!  <3

Enjoy!  Will post more pics soon.  :)   Only 35 more days until the Big Day for me!!!

My earrings, bracelet, and foot jewelry are on the left.  The three foot jewelry sets on the right are gifts for my girls. :)

Hi Ladies,

Hope you all had a good weekend!

So, I am excited as my dress has come in.  A lot earlier than expected, so that is exciting.  We ordered my wedding band and my FI and I are going to go in tonight to see what our jeweler has created for my FI.

I am pretty sure, that no one else is booking, which means, I can start on OOT bags and all the fun stuff here really soon!  YAY!!!!

I am fairly shocked by this.  I have it in writing from Karla Estrada that you can use the Resort Credits.  You just have to make sure to go to the desk at check in to confirm that is how you're paying.  We are all using the resort credits for hair and makeup.

I'm from Toronto!  I am using Beach Bum Vacations and it's free!! The TAs there have great reps and I can vouch that they have been amazing (so far).  Will give full review after our wedding!!

I have family from Canada, USA and other locations booking and I'm note sure what would be best, a travel agent or directly through Moon Palace...

Does anyone know if my guest book under the member wedding link what perks they get? Its not clear on the details of the resort credit and such. I have a guest that wants to book 5 days not 7 so I think they wont get the mani/pedi/massage/tours but they should still get the resort credit but it doesn't say anything about it on the reservation page.

I bought my dress yesterday!! I love it so much- it is exactly what I was looking for! I will try to post a pic of it soon!

Does anyone have a pdf file or email for the nightly rate for November if you book through a membership?  I've called the wedding department 3 times now, each time they tell me they will send me an email before they leave that day- and still nothing!!!! ugh- so very frustrating!
