On another note - I officially booked Octavio Montes for our photographer yesterday and sent him our deposit!  Going out to buy the rest of the supplies for our MIB invites today so that some family and I can start putting them together tomorrow night.  So excited!  Finally, it seems like things are starting to come together.

I was able to call Janina who gave us a buffer of 1 hour.  So that the latest we could get there is 1pm.  <3  I got it in writing also.  I do not plan to arrive be anywhere near the 1pm mark, but it makes me feel better that we have a little leeway.

Lizzie is great and very responsive, just know that it may take her a minute to get back to you because MP is either forwarding Lizzie emails from future brides and/or giving out her email.  I had a same day turnaround a while back and then it was like 3-5 days.  But once you get your locations booked you will relax more.

My best advice would be that if you want fast answers to your questions, CALL THEM.  The number is TOLL FREE.  I'm working with Janina and during business hours, she answers even before the end of the first ring!!

For those that asked me for Lizzie's information (after checking my email, I do not have Lizzie).  However; someone posted her information on this thread a little while back.

 

May I make a suggestion? Please feel free to disregard this information.  Contact your MP coordinator via email with a list of questions that you would like answered.  Make it as many questions as possible so that 1)  you can have one document and have things organized 2) so that you can have the information in WRITING vs. VERBAL and 3) Ask questions that you know the MP coordinator can not answer.  This way he/she will forward your email to the on-site MP person like Lizzie.  And/or simply call them and ask for a person on MP that can assist you. 

 

As mentioned above I didn't even have her so many there is more than one person handling.  But everything that I sent or was sent to me has my wedding contract number on it.

Hello all!  I'm new to the site - getting married March 16, 2012.  What is everyone using for photographers and what are you paying as an outside vendor fee?  Thanks for all the infrormation.  This site is really helpful!

I will be using Del Sol for my photography! I am super excited about it and can't wait for them to work their magic!! I haven't confirmed what the fee is yet, but Matt told me that he has a good working relationship with Palace resorts and we should have no issues.

OK ladies!!

 

I got my engagement pictures back! Here are just a handful on our photographer's blog ! I am really happy with them. There are of course pictures that I don't absolutely LOVE, but all in all I think she did an amazing job and has a great eye. We will definitely use her again if we ever need pictures in the future!!
