Just needing to let it out!!! We booked our booked our rooms with Destinationweddings.com. Which has been great, except for the fact that almost no one that previously committed has signed up and all the deposit went on my mom's credit card. My sister backed out on me yesterday, she will not be attending. We are in the process of moving his grandparents from San Antonio to Houston into the new assisted living home, we got notice 2 weeks ago that the owner of our house is moving back and needs us out by the 31st of December, and my dad is going in to have his elbow reconstructed after a fall in January after which he is supposed to be staying with us! Needless to say the planning and even talk to anyone has been put on the back burner. I sent our our email save the dates and the coasters we made, but am not getting a whole lot of feedback. We will be sending individual emails to friends and family over the next couple weeks. I am hoping to use the holidays to firm things up. I'm trying to stay positive, but this is nuts!

your bouquet turned out beautiful!! Are you making your BM bouquets also? I am working on my BM bouquets and getting the complimentary one for myself and if my computer wasnt so slow I would post pictures!

Vent away!!!

It can never just be one thing!  I am sorry!  I know it's so frustrating.  We have gotten a lot of no's or no feed back at all.  That seems to be one of the main things that upsets me about this whole process!  I hope people start getting back to you!  I know there is a lot on your plate....Just breathe! and drink a glass of wine, if that's your thing!? (it's mine and it helps!) HAHA!

This is the opened locket (which I had since I was 8 years old, haha) -- it has my Granny and Grandpa in it.  Granny is my bestest friend besides my FI, and she's 90 and can't make it to Mexico (but we're getting married in the states beforehand with her).  And Grandpa just passed away less than a month ago. 

 

I dapped this tag as a 2nd charm for the bouquet.  C & T = Casey and Tammy.  Feb 18, 2012 is our Big Day!  (I messed up on the 8 because I didn't have any small numbers - they're all letters, haha, and the 8 was going to be two B's... I just didn't line them up quite right.  I guess it gives it even more charm!  Pun intended!)

It is so tough having loved ones back out... especially if they're very close to you and said they would come (I'm going through the same thing).   How disappointing.  What's helped me a bit is focusing on those that will come and keeping my faith in our Special Day.  We're here for you, Tndrheart!

Hi Ladies!!!

 

so guess what....We booked our flight tonight!  Tickets out of Denver are crazy and keep going up, so I was getting nervous.  After we priced out tickets and luggage fees on united and continental, we just decided to pay a little more to fly direct both ways on frontier and the seating type we got allows two free checked bags each, priority seating, priority check in, which is all great for carrying a dress on the plane with me!    

 

Since we aren't having a lot of people come, we decided to splurge a little on us!    This small wedding definitely has its perks!

Morning Lovely Ladies,

 

Well moving 1 of my BM's was a success over the last two days!  It was great hanging out with her as we were able to catch up, talk about high school stuff.. etc..  So I'm back at work & got in here at 6:30a so that I could..... PRINT  Over the last two days, I decided not to do boarding pass pre-travel info & to do brochures instead.  So I essentially took all the information from the boarding pass & did a brochure in publisher.  I made 60 of these on photo paper to give it the shine.  I also printed the boarding passes & covers for my work mom.  I'll definitely upload better pictures once all assembled but for now here are a few that I took at work after printing.  Of course these are my iphone pictures.. (I can't wait until the wedding is over as I have to upgrade my gadgets ;-)

 

 

The girls both love Hello Kitty.  1 loves Bling and Shoes (1st one.. I will add bling) , the other loves teddy bears etc... I didn't deviate the styles much because although grown they still argue over who gets what from their parents so at my work mom's request I kept things pretty similar.
