PLEASE HELP!!! MAJOR DRESS WOBBLES. have my dress already and thinking about changing it... but the new dress will cost me over $1000 more!! what to do..........

i am in the same boat as you.

 

i went dress shopping and bought one of the rack first day.

 

then i did what YOU ARE NOT SUPOSED TO DO.........i looked at other dresses............and now i hate the one i have.

 

Moral of the story, pick your dress and DONT LOOK ANYMORE.....

 

but its too late for us, we looked more,......so now we have a  situation......

But i think with alterations your dress is awesome, you are gorgeous with an awesome shape to you.  I love the dress...

 

Remember you may love that 2nd dress pic, but you have NO IDEA what it will look like ON...........you really dont..........so i wouldnt go for that second dress unless i could try it on first.

 

tough decision,..............I say get the one you have now fitted and you will feel SOOOO much better about it now being "yours"....then STOP LOOKING AT BRIDE DRESSES...LOL

my problem is i have tried on the mikaella. it looked amazing!!!  my friend has pics so still waiting for her to mail them over to me.  such a dilema!  i know i love the allure one but when i compare the 2 i just dont know!!

 

think i will start a new thread to ask for some advise on how to make the allure dress a wow dress!!!!

Oh yes my BFF...lol...........i will be shopping for my 2nd dress, I am AN ASS..........but one good thing for me, my 1st dress was $100.00 so not too much of a loss, i settled......which i should not have done........ill just try to sell it, still has tags on it...lol

i have the allure one... it was $300 so not to bad.  could maybe sell it on.....  if i cant get the other one out of my head!  i do feel like i am settling for the allure one.  another issue for me is the store said i really need to order asap or it wont be in on time!!  i mailed all the local stockists so will see if i can get a deal somewhere.  its just me and oh going to mexico so feel like i should not splurge on a gown but then on the other hand you only get one chance to wear a wedding gown!

The updated pic taken right after you purchased it is gorgeous.  My vote would be to stick with the original, but I'm assuming you loved it when you bought it. If you absolutely love the second then, frankly, go with it.  It is $1000 but you will have the pictures and memories forever and you want to love everything about them.  You can always sell them and make some of the $$ back.  Looking at both dresses, I think you can't go wrong either way.

i like the dress you have, one suggestion I would make is to make the top in to a sweetheart, it would ad more shape and make it a little more sexy. Whatever you decide it will look great!
