It's always great to hear from another Cabo Azul bride!  Congrats!  It sounds like you are ahead of the game and you still have lots of time left -- that is awesome. 

 

How was the tasting?  We have almost the same food choices as far as entrees go, but did you by chance try the Javier's salad?  We were debating that and the Caesar... 

 

Great idea to have wine charms as favors. Very cute.  Good luck with your planning!

We did try both the Javier's and the Caesar salad. It was a tough decision, but in the end, we just felt that the caesar was going to be embraced by more of our guests. It was quite plain (just the lettuce, dressing and some crispy tortilla strips), so we've asked that they add some of the shredded monterey cheese that was on the Javier's salad.

Hi all!

 

I am planning my wedding for July 2012 and am heading down next weekend for our site visit! Please give me any and all advice you can as I seem to be a bit overwhelmed trying to figure the course of planning a destination wedding.

I am a Cabo Azul bride June 2012~ Overwhelming is an understatement! I am actually working on Florists and Photographer. Decisions, decisions......we did a site visit in November 2012 and fell in love with the ambiance, we have another visit in April to finalize details with our Spanish Guitarist, Ceremony music, DJ to go over music list, Taste Javier's (again, as we frequent the OC location), go over details of whats included in the set up fee for decor and florist etc.....

How did the site visit go?

We are getting married there on June 2012 and will go for our second site visit in April to finalize details of our wedding!! Exciting!!!
