Villa Del Arco vs Villa La Estancia

Has anyone ever been to or stayed at either of these hotels??? We are having our reception at Villa Del Arco, but can't decide which hotel to stay at since the rates that we have been quoted are very similar! Any advice??

I think no matter which one you pick you will be happy they are both nice. I like Villa Del Arco it just depends what you like. The nice part since they are sister resorts you can get in at all 3 (hotels) and use their pools. I am not sure how Villa Estancia looks inside the rooms. They have a trolley that takes you from hotel1, 2, 3 and they have a little plaza, with a market and restaurants. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The hotel location is near down town like a 7 min taxi drive or you could walk.

I am sure you will be happy with which ever one you choose! I haven't stayed at either of them but I would probably choose the one where the reception is just too make it easy after the reception! Good luck with your choice.

We LOVE Villa la Estancia. We stayed there during our site visit last year and all our guests are staying there for our wedding in June. I have never stayed at Villa del Arco, but the grounds are very nice. There are a few things to consider in your decision...Arco is bigger and more kid friendly. I believe they have a kids club and there is a giant pirate ship in the main pool. Estancia only has two and three bedroom rooms. Although you can rent out one side of a two bedroom, the patio connects to the second bedroom and you run the risk of sharing a common patio with someone you don't know. Our single guests and couples are sharing two bedroom rooms with one another so they don't have to worry about that. Villa la Estancia is also entirely privately owned, so you generally will not get pestered with timeshare pressures, which is nice. Additionally, because of the private ownership, many of the villas at Villa la Estancia can be rented off of VRBO.com for excellent rates!
