Riu Varadero

Any ladies considering having their wedding at the Riu Varadero? I know it's not fully functional yet, but it's coming soon.

 

Anybody have any info on this resort?

My fiance and I are deciding on esorts and this one is top of our list. Our travel agency specializes in destination weddings and highly recommends Riu overall and this resort in particular.  I know it only opened last fall; many of the other resorts in Veradero are quite old.  vacationed at the Princessa del Mar (beautiful but adults only).  Saw the Riu from the outside and spoke to people staying there...very good reviews. Hope this helps.

Hi!  anyone else hear anything about this resort lately? 

 

i`m planning my late 2012/early 2013 wedding and am really considering Riu Varadero or Paradisus Varadero.  I`ve stayed at Princesa Del Mar and loved it but like the above poster said, unfortunately it`s adults-only.  

 

i want a newer, modern resort and i`ve stayed at a few RIU hotels in mexico and loved it as well.  hopêfully the new RIU varadero lives up to the the RIU name!  

 

anyone know anything about the wedding gazebo here?  i haven`t seen any pics of it...

This is where I'm getting married in March.  There is a facebook group called Riu Varadero Weddings where some of the girls have posted pictures of there weddings plus other great info for this resort.  Oh and as I get closer to the date I'm sure I will have alot more info to tell about.  All I have right now is whats included in my package which in my opinion is a great deal!
