You definately have to roll with the punches when planning a DW. Personally I would not commit to anything so far away, so I can understand people's hesitation.  Wait until after the holidays and maybe you will get more RSVP's.  A lot of people probably don't even know if they can get vacation time off this far in advance.  I wouldn't sweat it, I'm sure your wedding day will be YOUR perfect day!  Congrats
