Canouan Island - Raffles Resort Wedding Photos

Hi,

I just got back a week ago from photographing a wedding at Raffles Resort on Canouan Island. It was absolutely beautiful there, and I would definitely suggest looking into it if you are interested. Don't be immediately frightened by the room rates that you see online - they provide a generous rate discount for weddings.

The customer service that Raffles provides is impeccable. The place is also so relaxing and has such an intimate feel. Did I mention that every room comes with a golf cart? The resort isn't all inclusive, but they do pamper you with lots of "freebies" like Raffles flip flops in the room, free sodas and waters, etc.

I have lots of photos on my blog - and I have more photos of the bride and groom on the way. I will also have a slideshow posted within the next few days.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about Canouan Island or Raffles. I'm happy to answer questions - even if you don't need photography. cheesy.gif

The bride's was so happy and excited. I love this shot of her walking by her dress with such a huge smile.

Isn't this the sweetest chapel?

We only had maybe 5-10 minutes total to get pics of the bride and groom together b/c a storm was approaching QUICKLY.

Alex was my hero! haha He totally caught Synda by surprise and threw her in the water. She was a great sport. I know the middle shot is as blurry as it can be - but I love it. I think it shows the element of surprise.

Although Synda originally had no plans to "trash" her dress - they plopped down in the sand for a few quick photos.

And then the rains came storming down. We had to run to a cabana to save our cameras.

Tami - I owe you a HUGE apology. To make a long story short - I still have your BD book and was about to go email you. Long story - but I will get it out in the morning - promise!
lol ... no worries. I just knew I had something Registered Mail and didn't know what else it could be ... but it was some starfish charms I ordered off eBay.

It's no problem. (and sorry for hi-jacking this awesome thread!!)
