Use etools recipe builder, put in all your ingredients and enter the amount of servings it yeilded.  That is the best way I know to count it.

I made an awesome recipe yesterday - with quinoa..mushrooms..corn..onion..and just not too sure how to count it as I used chicken broth and some vegetable oil in there aswell.
I know quinoa is easily measured on its own - but just not sure how many points this yeilds with all that extra stuff!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hey ladies! Congrats on your weight loss thus far!

I joined WW in October and have lost 33lbs.

I've been slacking since Christmas, so my weight loss has been slow but steady since then. We booked our October wedding in Las Vegas last weekend, so it's time to re-commit and get losing again!

Good luck on all of your weigh-ins this week! :)

  • 2 weeks later...

Hi All - I'm hoping someone can give me some insight as to what the problem is.
Last week I stuck to my points - hit my target everyday - AND also had 9 workouts between Mon and Friday.
All cardio - no weights..and I DIDN'T LOSE A SINGLE POUND!?!?!

I am so upset and deflated and I just don't understand why this happened.
Ive worked out less in a week and have lost 3lbs - so I dont know what the issue is.
The only things I didn't do that should have done was journal and drink water (other than the gym)

Any ideas?

Hi Ladies -

I achieved my WW lifetime status about 1 1/2 years ago.  I had lost a total of 35 pounds and since gained back about 8 or 9 pounds of that.  Even though 9 pounds didn't sould like a whole lot, it FEELS like a whole lot on me!  So, here I go again.  I need to get back on this plan and for some reason, I am having a difficult time this go around.  I just joined the online  program (lifetime members don't get access to the etools).  My FI joined WW about 8 months ago to support me (and to loose the gut).  Well, he did fantastic.  He lost over 50 pounds (while I was sneaking the snacks) oops.gif.  He is now on maintance and I am at the start line, again!  Finding this thread might just give me that extra push that I need.  Besides, I already have my wedding dress and I can't gain a pound!!!

Well - my co-worker said it is my cycle thats the issue - (I'm due in a couple days) - but i didnt' think anyone would retain THAT much with all those workouts

I'm pretty good with measuring - I even bought a scale to measure my chicken breasts as I was mis-measuring before
I've been eating a fair bit of quinoa too and I have trouble figuring out the points for that too

Are you still measuring/weighing everything? I tend not to lose when I get a little lazy and eyeball things. ;)

Yeah, definitely cycle related. I have a really hard time losing weight when I weigh in the week prior, but I tend to post a pretty big loss the week after.

Try to track it and see if there is a pattern. If there is, just attribute it to nature and stay positive :)
