I am happy to report that we have added a new member to the BDW Team (and hope to add more in the near future!).

 

Congratulations to Miriam (Murmel).  Miriam has done an amazing job helping Azul Sensatori Brides and will now work on being the Brand Specialist for all of the Karisma Hotels (Azul Sensatori, Azul Beach, Azul Fives, El Droado Maroma, El Dorado Seaside, El Dorado Royal & El Dorado Casitas).

 

She will pretty much continue doing what she has been doing, which is helping BDW brides!

Did you hear anything back from anyone in terms of pointers? I see a lot of posts from several years ago but nothing from a 2013 wedding so far (but maybe I'm looking in the wrong places). We are planning on trying to get married at Azul Fives in October 2013 but are in the very preliminary planning stages. I am trying to figure out how much extra decorations and things like that will be on top of the package we are buying in order to figure out the budget.

I am trying to see if a $10k budget including travel, rooms, ceremony, reception, etc is going to work at a Karisma property.

$10K is a lot, but it depends heavily on where you are travelling from and what details you want for your wedding. If you go with a simple package, and do not need a private dinner with tons of extras, then I think it' s possible. If you have a huge guest list, want a private dinner, private photographer, lots of decorations, excursions, etc- then you might need a bigger budget. So it's really hard to say yes or no, it's such a personal choice. You can check out this thread (even though it is for the sister resort) the prices and packages should be almost identical.
