Returning Home to a Clean House

So after booking a flights for his parents and realizing that they would probably be spending a night at our house before we return I thought of my dream wedding gift. I would love to have someone arrange to have our whole house cleaned while we are away, including fresh sheets and towels. This way we can return home to a clean house and not stress about getting organized. And then this morning, I received a groupon email for cleaning services.

 

Maybe I can convince FI to "surprise" me?

 

Has/is anyone else arranging cleaning while they are away?

Never had it done, but what an amazing idea! I am going to start dropping hints NOW, haha.

I'd say go for it, if you haven't already arranged it. I always like to return to a clean house so when I travel I try to make sure I clean before I leave. It makes things crazier prior to leaving but makes things so much nicer when I come back! I think it would be nicer still if someone else did the cleaning while I was gone!

Love the ideaaaa. I just have to figure out who can do this for me lol. Probably mom or my best friend. Every time I go on vacation I tell myself I will clean the house before leaving but it never happens

Looooove this idea!  The absolute last thing I want to do after coming back from our wedding & honeymoon is clean.  I dont know about anyone else, but I have to keep the honeymoon vibe going for a couple days... not scrub a bathroom & do laundry!  lol

Love the idea of it but if I had a groupon or something like that, I'd want to be there with them. I wouldn't let strangers have a key to my house when I'll be out of the country for a week. That's a recipe for disaster. Now if my mom wanted to come do it, i'd be a willing recipient
