Wording for STDs to tell them why we're choosing Cuba..

Hi everyone!

 

I'm really terrible with words and I was hoping someone could help me choose some careful wordings for my STD cards. 

 

FI and I are newly engaged and we're planning a January 2012 Varadero, Cuba wedding. All his family and friends are in Cuba so it's natural that we're having the wedding there since they can't travel out of the country.

 

Now, I have the type of extended family that would not normally be understanding with the concept of a destination wedding so I really want to avoid doing something simple with just a date and location. Some of them haven't met my FI yet and probably have no idea that he's Cuban. I'm looking for a short paragraph that explains to them that his family is in Cuba and that's why we're doing it there..

 

Any help would be muuuuuch appreciated! Thanks!
