These are such a cute whimsical idea!  I have seen these as hanging decorations but not as centerpeices.  I might try my hand at making these for the AHR or the next shower I host.  thanks!

Hi Kat,

We're getting married in January but I have made both paper and flower pomanders and pompoms like the ones in the above posting... I will post photos once I am done..only have done a tester in each of my wedding colors but the fabric ones look a lot nicer and with traveling in suitcases, you don't have to worry about the paper ones getting squished. I am going to use the pomanders on the chairs in each aisle for our wedding. But I may also use them as decor on the tables in vases alternating colors. Here is the link to show you how to make the fabric pomanders...fyi..I made 2.5inch pomanders and it took almost three hours to make my first one! The directions say only an hour.I will also include another link I found on rosette paper pomanders...I think they look nicer then the regular flower pomanders. They would be pretty for at home receptions.
