Photogs who will do JUST TTD sessions?

Hi there! I think (I say this because we have been agonizing) we have finally picked our wedding photog. I absolutely love his work but I am looking for a different perspective for my TTD session.

 

Are there any photogs (besides Del Sol, obv) who will do a TTD session without being the primary wedding photog? If so, who are they?

If anyone knows, please let me know! Thanks!!!!

i am sure most the photogs will do a TTD session without it being part of a wedding package.  Why don't you just ask the photog who you like to see if they will just do a TTD session.

I agree with Tammy. Most of us wedding photographers love doing TTD photoshoots because they free us up to be as creative as we want. I'm not sure why your primary photographer wouldn't be interested. And if they don't include one in your wedding package, they may give you a good discount on one especially if they are flying in just for your wedding.

 

I think Del Sol and Daniel Aguilar produce some really consistent TTD work I really love the cenote TTD's each of them have done. I'm going to be there in Playa del Carmen in April and am looking for couples who want to go to one one the cenotes for some pictures. So if you'd like to get on the list, email me!

HI, pretty much all the photographers i contacted will do a TTD session seperately or with your other photos, I am getting mine done all at one time, ceremony pics then ttd.......then back to hotel and shower for dinner, but i understand brides want to stay beautiful to reception. I do my own hair and makeup so not a biggie for me.....

In our experience with trash the dress sessions some people do it the next day, others a few days later. Some use the dress from the wedding others bring a second for the TTD session. Everyone is different ! 

 

Trash the dress sessions are very different from a wedding, A few questions to ask might be ?

 

Is your photographer prepared to go in the water with you ? and roll on the sand ?

 

What locations do they offer ? Hotel Beach, Private Beach, Cenote, City Walks  ?

 

We think a ttd session needs to be fun and original. In the end you should have a look at all your favorite trash the dress photos, and tell your photographer what your looking for. I can only speak for us but we are up for anything !
