Ah Stella/Jenna, I saw those photos yesterday! I didnt even realize it was you!!!! Your photos turned out amazing!! LOVE TI and Ileana!!

Yeah i know what you mean about  the beaches photographs, I mean Im happy with the way they turned out, they arent bad or anything, but I was given no instruction at all as to how to even get our pictures. It was our last day there at the resort and I said to hubby we should go by the photo shop and see what the deal is with our pictures, and when we arrived they said oh yeah we have been waiting for you, we have a viewing set up for you, well hello who was going to tell us, I mean how were we supposed to know!

Yes, keep me posted about the video, still no word on my end yet!

Omg! We had the exact same thing happen to us!! They told us they were going to call and set up a viewing appointment with us, and NEVER did. So we stopped by randomly and they showed us them really quick, basically rushing us which irked me because I needed to pick the ones I wanted and there were SO many! They then told us that our family, who had already had left the resort wouldnt be able to view them all. Only the ones we purchased! I was fuming.The people in the photo shop dont have a clue, and we got different answers everytime we went to figure it out. Not a great way to spend one of our last days btw!

Thank god for Stacey though. My husband went and explained the situation and she took care of everything. She is a doll!

Brandy, I just got this email from the video department.....

 

We apologize for the inconvenience however, your wedding video will be available for viewing no later than tomorrow afternoon. A link will be sent to your email. As soon as you have gotten this link and have watched the video, kindly send us an email if you would like any changes made or if you would like us to ship it to you.

 

I would hope you got the same one!!

I've said it before, if you have problems with Monica, or anyone...you need to make a complaint &  get something done about it, not only for yourself but for all the brides yet to come... they can't fix a problem they don't know about, and Beaches/Sandals is a big group, they got money and they will do what they have to to make you happy!

A link was sent to your email on April 7, 2011. Kindly watch it and send us an email if you would like to have any changes made or if we can go ahead ship the video to you.

 

Which I looked and had no such email from them, and helloooo why would I be asking about it if I had it!!!! I got that response with no link, cleary I didnt get it so why wouldnt you put the link in that email as well??????  How can I watch it if I dont have link!

For the ladies, wondering about the video..... Im not sure how much it is, it was included in our package, but I would say get it!!! I think its important to have a video of your wedding, and the did a really nice job, my only complaint is they need to fix some parts where it was messed, up, not on the video guys end but we were announced in as the wrong name so they let us get reannounced in and I dont like how they placed it in the video and the same with our first dance they had us do it twice bc they started the song towards the end the first time, so they just need to fix some stuff with that, other than that its great!!

OMG!  You guys are scaring me.  I have already paid for a photography package and video with Beaches.  I hope they are more organized when we go!  I wish I could have afforded to go with TI !!

I read a review that stated that the resort is "cashless" and that you have to give them a credit card when you arrive and they give you a Beaches chargecard.  Is this true?  We were planning on bringing cash.  Can you pay cash for the excursions/tours?  Can you use cash in the giftshops?

It seems that I have lots of questions, since the date is inching closer (5 days until we leave!)... How did you all travel with your dresses?  My airport suggests folding it and placing in the overhead compartment, but I REALLY don't want to smash it.  Do you know if there is a steamer on the resort?  Even still, I would be scared that my dress would shrink if it would be steamed.  Am I crazy?
