Is anyone getting any photo or video packages? What are your timelines for ceremony and reception?

We bought the basic photo package... No video. I figure I can have one of my guests video the vows, first dance, cake, and toasts.

 

I'm thinking of having the pictures BEFORE the ceremony, so that we will be able to be with everyone during the reception. Anyone else doing this?. Thoughts??

I was thinking photos before as well. Our ceremony is at twilight so depending on people we are thinking go to dinner at one of the restaurants and then cocktail hour or two after. Or no dinner and just two hours of the apps and drinks. Im back and forth. I dont want to spend extra for the dinner and think its a bit odd to drink/ dance and then do a sit down dinner. It just sort of takes the excitement down.

My ceremony is at 4:00 I thought of doing it at twilight but then decided against it.. I don't have the reception times yet. I still haven't had my conference call.  Maybe after that I will know more. Good Idea having guest video saves a lot of money!!

Not renting their cameras since most companies let you only have them a couple of days and everyone has smart phones now.

@@megthomson I love the idea but are you just going to have everyone pay the extra fee for internet or just update the app once they have service back in the states? From my understanding it's 14.99/day for internet.
