I have another question.  How are people picking colors?  Are you doing the wedding theme colors or personal favorite color?  Or perhaps matching decor back home? LOL

I'm trying to go with colors in my theme. I think I may do yellow and green....

 

If you and your Fiance have special colors that mean something to you both, maybe you can also do those..

If the sand is really full it probably wouldn't move around, would it? I also worry about doing this because we are heading off to the DR after our Mexican wedding so it would go through that much more movement. I guess it's another thing I'll have to pawn off on my sister or FMIL to bring back.....

I love the idea of using sand from the destination!!  I never even thought about that before.
