I am doing the same thing and just received my sand dollars from quality shells today!  Did you put anything on the sand dollars like a paint or glue to help the shells from breaking?

Thanks ladies. I do plan on doing a planning thread. I didn't put anything on the top. I am going to package them pretty much the way they were shipped out plus a little extra to prevent breakage. Nimzer, if you make them, be sure to post pics!
