Thanks , any info would be appreciated.

He loves the idea of the cocktail reception on the rooftop, any have any info?

xoxo

We are also expecting a large party of about 100-120 people. We eventually decided to have our wedding off-resort, but we visited this resort and it is VERY large and so i'm certain they would be able to accommodate a larger party. Also, the wedding coordinators didn't blink an eye when we told them about the size of our party.

I agree that the rooftop would be an awesome place for a cocktail. It was one of my favorite spaces in the resort when we visited.

Hi Parrish, for your group Palmera excursion, did you book the Marinarium or Reef Explorer? Did you have the boat to yourselves? Did any kids go? Thanks!

Hi Parish, thank you for the amazing reviews. Question about the catamaran, is there an age restriction? (ie. could a 5 year old go on?)

If you don't mind me asking, where did you decide to have it? I heard about the jellyfish restaurant but it looks too small to hold so many people and I was thinking about how inconvenient it would be. Is it? I mean to have it off-resort?

I sent for a price on the rooftop but I'm not happy with them not including cocktail for the wedding and having to pay extra for drinks that are already free? Doesn't make sense to me. Paying extra to have it on the rooftop, maybe.

Thank you for the info

Here is a post from my photographers blog that include some more pictures of the wedding.

Ooops I just sent you a message on FB, I forgot I could just answer you here. Loved the wedding, did you have a cocktail hour?

Loved your dress too...it's so hard looking for a dress with a leg opening that looks great as well.

No cocktail hour. We figured we did not want to pay for it when people could just get it for free at the bars. It was also hot out so it was nice to give people a break from outside and cool off in bar Carey and have drinks there and all hang out before the reception.

Hi Parrish,

Thanks for the great review and pictures.  I'm also having a beach reception and was wondering about the weather.  How was the weather during the reception? Also, I'm thinking about bringing some candles but not sure if it'll be too windy and turn them off.

Lastly, did you notice any people hanging out by your party? What part of the beach (building numbers) is reception set-up?

Thanks
