Top 3 reasons:

 

1) Family friendly:  I have a son and I have families coming and I wanted to ensure they were well accommodated.

2) Casino/shows:  The older generation probably won't have too much fun at the clubs but my family does love the casino and I heard the shows each night are amazing.

3) Price:  It has everything we were looking for at a reasonable price.  We were deciding between the Majestic and Hard Rock and the Barcelo came on top.  

 

Since booking, we know another couple from our city that chose the Barcelo.  So it must be doing something right!

I am excited for all the brides who's wedding date is quickly approaching.  lt's been a while since I've been on here (stupid change). But 2014 is finally here!  Woohoo! 

 

PS. Waiting for RSVP's sucks. 

 

@bonafidelatina I agree 110% with @tricia-m. There is also so much to do on the resort. What more could you ask for? You would never have to leave the resort for anything.  None of our guests will be bored!  There are mixed reviews on the food quality.. but I am not too worried.  As long as you go in with low expectations you wont be disappointed.

Does Barcelo provide packages where the tables and chairs are already decorated or are you ladies bringing your own decor?

I've been looking at the Hard Rock packages and I like that everything is decorated which would save me time as I'm not really crazy about spending time picking a vendor for decor...any thoughts would be appreciated.  However I do know Hard Rock would be much more expensive for our guests....tough choice!!!

Yes they do have packages where the tables and chairs that are already decorated.  I can send you pictures of what my WC have forward to me that is included in the tangerine package?  Please provide me your email, as I have no idea how to upload pictures on a post. lol

I'm getting married off-resort, but my FI and I decided to have all of our guests stay at BBPD. Our big day is on May 24 and we are so pumped! I have a quick question that i have been having trouble getting answered from BBPD and was wondering if any of you knew the answer. My parents have a small (about 10lb) service dog. I imagine pets are not allowed on the resort, but does any one know the policy for service animals? or do you have suggestions on who I can contact for an answer?
