Hi Ladies, I also have Pastor York. I chose him because we wanted the religious aspect of our wedding and he is open to adding any traditions that the bride and groom might have or even a sand ceremony if you want. He allows you to choose between a traditional religious or a contemporary ceremony or you can mix both. I've read great reviews about him and he seems so nice on e-mail. I'm also not sure who is the $300 minister, but I think ifyou choose a symbolic without the pastor, your WC will officiate your symbolic ceremony. Yes my WC is going to have us sign in front of her in her office the day before our symbolic in private then his cousin will officiate the ceremony in front of everyone the day after ... if all goes as planned

Anyone find out any more about using HDC at our resort?  I'm so confused!!  Really want to book them but don't want to book and then be told "no way".  Thanks!

Well Tropical Pictures is the main ones for BBPD but ask your WC at the resort because they aren't fans of outside business -

I don't know about having an outdoor photographer, so I agree with soonmrsD. It's best to ask your WC. For those who use or are using Tropical Pictures, how and when do you pay the deposit? Also, does anyone know what to do with carrying a bunch of wedding stuff like we're planning on bringing centerpieces, OOT stuff, favors. Do you think customs will say something? Thank you.

You can do everything through your WC, just ask her to do it for you so she can keep up to date on your needs and wants and just reach out to them. I'm bringing someone from NY, family to do my photo/video -

 

Regarding carrying and bringing wedding stuff, I'm sure you can just pay for an extra luggage but you should consider a few closest friends to bring stuff for you to avoid drama at the airport. This is what I'm doing, I mean our guests don't need to bring so much anyway so they can help by helping you with your load.

Thank you. I asked my WC originally about tropical pictures and she gave me the email to contact them instead of making the reservation for me. Trop Pics keeps telling me to send a 30% deposit before they can confirm, but they never sent me the instructions as to where to send it, etc. So our emails would keep looking like "Hi. Can you please tell me how to send the deposit?" and they would reply with "You need to send deposit before you arrive." hahaha. So confusing! LoL.
