Thank u sootobemrsD. The bouquet did come with package. It was beautiful. I loved it! My wedding was at 11am Reception at 1pm.

Thank you for very thorough review.  It's definitely interested to hear a review from someone who is staying at the Beach side vs the Deluxe side.  I'm glad that everything pulled together for you.  I am growing with excitement since Hildabranda is also my WC. Hi Ladies,

 

So I finally got billed and I see that the Catholic Wedding gets charged a separate $550.  Do you guys know if this is applicable to all packages?  I have the Strawberry package.

 

I too was assigned to Aris!  Whoohoo with her track record on this thread, I think I'm in good hands.

Hey brides-to-be!

 

I am planning my 2014 wedding and Barcelo Bavaro Palace is #1 on my list right now..I like everything they have to offer except for the exclusive photopgrahy studio they use...

 

Do you guys have any insights on that? Do we ABSOLUTELY have to use them if wanting an on-site photographer? I really want to use HDC... I was thinking if it is possible to "invite" the HDC photographer as a guest? I saw some other brides did that on other resorts to avoid the outside vendor fee...

Well with my experience at first my WC said no outside people as I wanted to use HDC then when I said I'm flying in my own photo/video which will be cheaper anyway she then claimed the fee for outside vendor is $1000. 

 

You will not be able to have them as a guest because they will need to stay at the hotel and if they are staying elsewhere she stated they needed to know where they are staying. It seems its not as easy as it use to be but go and try!
