I haven't posted in a while but am excited to say that my wedding has been moved from 11 AM on a Saturday morning to 4 PM on Friday. Thanks to the ladies who helped support my point that an 11 AM wedding is waaayy too early!!!

 

For those of you who have paid your deposit, can you please tell me how the money transfer was handled? I do not have a wedding coordinator and am dealing directly with Marlene at BBPD. She hasn't responded to my email all week, in which I asked her if I could pay via PayPal or over the phone. I'm not too comfortable emailing my credit card information but would like to pay my deposit to ensure I get what I want!

Hi candancy!

 

I'm fairly new to this site and just saw your post. I am working with a destination wedding specialist who communicates with Marlenes fro me.  I know it does take sometime to get a response from Marlene because she seems quite busy probably with tons of wedding emails to respond too.  I only say this because my specialist is extremely thorough in responding to my emails that I send her, but when she sends emails on my behalf to Marlene they take a little time to get a response and I've gotten use to this so try not to worry.

 

As far as the deposit, Marlene emailed me a credit card authorization form  to be filled out along with a copy of my wedding package agreement which lists the date and time of your wedding.  she did not however tell me how to return these documents to her once completed but there is a fax number located usually at the bottom of her emails.  I would definately check first if thats a secure fax to send your credit card information too.  I faxed my info to my specialist who then forwarded it to Marlene.  They have already taken the money from my account and I havent had any issues thus far.  hope this helps :-)

Candacey, Marlene should be sending you the bank information to make a wire transfer from your own bank. I have BOA and was really relieved that I could just schedule a transfer to their account right from my account online. No having to call the bank or anything. They received the funds 3 days later but Susana took almost a week and a  half to get back to me.

Girls here is a video of me having the "Bride Off'' at the Disco after my Reception with the other Bride from Dec 4th 2012.  It was alot of fun and very worth going to the Disco after the Reception for a crazy time.
