Cabo Azul

I am visiting Cabo Azul in December and I was hoping to gather some opinion on the site, reception, flowers etc. The wedding is going to be late summer...and we are also considering Casa Dorada, and maybe Esperanza.

 

Also their overall service?? I am excited to plan this wedding and I look forward to hearing all your experiences.

Hi Vanessa,

We are booked at Cabo Azul in June -- you might want to check availability because all of the weekends through August were already booked as of September. 

 

We've never visited the resort and are going site-unseen for our wedding.  However, we have friends who have been to weddings there and have raved about it!! 

 

We are having 150 people at our wedding and are a bit nervous about everyone being able to get rooms there (it's all timeshare villas).  So far we have had 89 guests booked with no problem.  Fingers crossed that it keeps going smoothly! 

 

All food and drinks must be done through the resort (cocktail, reception, and if you choose to have your rehearsal dinner there -- we are having our rehearsal dinner at Tequila's).  Flowers, music, hair/make-up, photography, etc. can be done through other vendors, although the wedding manager at Cabo Azul can coordinate those for you too.
