Yeah! Another 'Now Jade' thread to follow! I am getting married there on 11-11-11. Not sure if ive been assigned a WC yet but will totally take all the advice from previous brides. Here are a few questions for all the new brides to get this thread going

1. When is your wedding date?

2. Are you working with  a travel agent?

3. Where have you decided to have your ceremony? cocktail hour? reception?

4. How many are in your party?

5. What colors are your wedding party?

6. How long are you planning to stay?

Hello, I recently moved my group to the Now Jade Resort (after the Grand Princess gas explosion).  I have about 40 people going with us for our wedding and we are getting married there in Feb 2011.  I have been in contact with Pilar and she is so responsive!  the longest that it has taken me to hear back from her is 24 hrs and she has almost perfect english.  I am really excited about going and feel like it is going to be a great time for all of us.

 

I asked Pilar about the wedding make-up and pictures of hairstyles.  she said that the Spa is changing brands as of 1/1/11 so she will email me info after it has changed.  I read a different review from someone who said that she got a manicure there and it was the worst one that she has ever received.  I think that she got married there when it was recently opened so I am not sure if that has something to do with it or not.  I am thinking of getting my make-up at Lancome before I go and then doing it myself for the wedding.  the hair style that I picked out is super simple so hopefully the spa will be able to do it well.

 

Have you decided on where your actual wedding location will be?  and how about the reception?
