ketuba or quaker wedding certificate?

are there any jewish or quaker brides-to-be or Mrs. that have gotten one of these?

 

here are some sites i found but i am looking for a recommendation for an artisit who will do a custom inter-faith wedding certificate for us

This is a bit pricey -- but it would be exactly what you want... They have a ketuba sample and it sounds like they are awesome at incorporating your unique theme / design / idea.

I think we had a Ketuba thread if I recall correctly. Most of the judaica stores online sell beautiful Ketubas, however I don't know if they do interfaith certificates. I'll do some research for you.

There are a few that will use interfaith copy. I'm designing our Ketubah to match our theme. Here's the text we found that are including in ours:

 

 

On the ___ day of the week, the ___ day of ___, in the year ___, corresponding to the ___ day of ___, in the year ___, ___, son of ___, and ___, daughter of ___, join each other in ___, before family and friends to make a mutual covenant as husband and wife, partners in marriage. The groom, ___, promises ___, the bride: "You are my wife according to tradition. I shall cherish you and honor you as is customary among those who have cherished and honored their wives in faithfulness and in integrity." The bride, ___, promises ___, the groom: "You are my husband according to tradition. I shall cherish you and honor you as is customary among those who have cherished and honored their husbands in faithfulness and in integrity." "We, as beloveds and friends, promise each other to strive throughout our lives together to achieve an openness which will enable us to share our thoughts, our feelings, and our experiences. We promise to try always to bring out in ourselves and in each other qualities of forgiveness, compassion, and integrity. We, as beloveds and friends, will cherish each other's uniqueness; comfort and challenge each other through life's sorrow and joy; share our intuition and insight with one another; and above all do everything within our power to permit each of us to become the persons we are yet to be. Alyssa, what did you end up deciding on for your Ketubah/Quaker wedding certificate? Or have you found something yet?

 

I was actually looking to do a combination of the two, something that has spaces for all our guests (all 50 or so) to sign as witnesses. If you're still looking, I have a few recommendations...
