I want to start a thread for anyone who is forced to change their wedding plans due to Hurricane Dean. Let us know what you need help with (picking a new location, finding new vendors, etc.) and we can all help out. We are a supportive group of smart, creative women (& a few awesome guys). I know that together we can make it a lot easier for couples to replan their wedding quickly.

Do you want this to be a tropical beach wedding or would you be happy with a Canadian beach? Or even a US beach?

I'm here to help any way I can as well. I have info on the DR (which Punta Cana is NOT affected) and any NC/SC beaches if anyone is interested. Plus, I'm happy to check into ANYTHING else necessary.

Well as I said on the other post, it must be similar to Swept Away in that its an all inclusive, adults only and not in a highrise like resort but more of an intimate like resort..

 

Must be Carribean not Canada or US..Thanks girls, I guess I better start doing mega researching..oh it has to have a nice beach too, I have never touched the Ocean..

Since your wedding is so soon, have most of your guests already booked?

 

If so, can they get their deposit / flight money back? Or maybe moved to another Couple's resort? I'm just curious how that's working out with hotels and such. If those affected are refunding any deposits.

Its only the two of us, thankfully BUT couples only has resorts in Jamaica (unfortunately)...
