Thanks for the info ladies!

I definitely think that suits are the way to go. I will definitely check out the vendor (studio suits) as I am not sure of where to go for options. Are you ladies also having the groomsmen wear suits? I am a little nervous to let them buy their own wear ;-)

I am now considering doing a legal ceremony...yowzers i am indecisive. I just think it would be more official that way. I don't know...what are you ladies doing? symbolic or legal?

Thanks for your help!!

The nice things about studio suits too is most suits are $100, which is less than to rent anywhere. I would direct them to a specific place and specific color.....  We are doing a "blessing" ceremony since my fiance wanted to be married at home. We just aren't telling anyone when we're doing it. So we'll actually be married and for a while it gets to be our little secret. :) It bothered me at first, and I've just had to find other ways to look at it. :)

Lindsnjosh--   I am doing a legal ceremony; it seems pretty easy in Jamaica, as opposed to Mexico which I think has stricter requirements... I don't know about the Domican Republic.  Plus my resort is handling all of the paperwork, so we thought it would be easier.  I suggest you talk to your resort to see what is required and what they will handle for you and decide what may be easier.

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to the site.....getting married on Sunday December 4, 2011 at the Iberostar Rose Hall Suites.  Technically, the ceremony & cocktail hour will be offsite at the Rose Hall Aqueduct & doing dinner & dancing back at the resort.

We have about 50 guests coming, after inviting 400.  Perfect number for me!

Just ordered my dress last week....doing P90X now :)

Just wanted to say hi!  I'm sure I'll have tons and tons of questions.

Danielle
