Is "recepcion al paraiso" or "bienvenidos al pariaso" the correct translation of "welcome to paradise"? I went o babblefish and it told me the recepcion was correct, but when I had them translate bienvenidos it said that word meant welcome.

Can someone tell me which is the proper way to say it? I want to put this on my OOT hang tags.

Thank you!

bablefish does the worst translation... I know from experience ! I teach French in an english school and a few kids that were not born in Quebec sometimes have difficulties learning the language and they often use Bablefish ... They write their text in English then go to Bablefish. The problem is that it will translate word per word but do not put all the words in the right order so your verbs or adjectives might not be at the right place.

A funny thing happen 2 years agosmile105.gifsmile105.gif a student in grade 11 did his oral presentation on Terry Fox and the whole class knew his used bablefish since he said : Je vais parler de Terry Renard (I will talk about Terry Fox). A fox in French is "renard". So this just tells you that bablefish just translate word per word !

Anny just translated something for me (she is part of this forum) Maybe "pm" her and I am sure she will be glad to help you.cheer2.gif
