How do you deal with wedding gifts at a destination wedding?

We created three registries and have already received a few gifts! The people that aren't able to attend send a gift instead. It is also good to have a registry for showers. $$ is always nice too.

We too, are not interested gifts, however I do like the idea of a honeymoon registry.  We have a lot of family who will not be in attendance and our AHR is up in the air right now.  Do you think I should just note that "monetary gifts to be used towards our honeymoon" are acceptable OR actually create a registry???  I'm really not sure some of the older folks will be able to go online anyway!
