I'm thinking about a BD shoot also- in my area there is only really one place that does them- but they do a good job. You do your own hair and makeup (unless you bring someone) but they charge $150 for two hours of shooting and $50 for a 20 page book. Apparently this is pretty good from what you all were saying!

Yup that is a steal.  For a 10 page album it was close to $500.  So ridiculous.

I'm such a newbie that I didn't even know what a BD album was until now.  It's a great idea.  I'm just not sure he would really consider it a gift for him. I think I would be more into it than him.  He would also probably get mad that someone else took the pics.  I like the watch ideas and an adventure trip on the honeymoon.  Thanks for the info Ladies.

If you google it, you can find lots of info on how to. I think project wedding had a good article on it
