Is it a bad thing that i dont have a monogram???

Hi ladies!

 

I was just wondering.......is it a bad thing that i dont have a monogram?? I am working on my passport invites, and i used postcards for my save the dates and i didnt bother getting a monogram......i am hoping that i am not missing out by not having one!!

I didn't have a monogram either! I think it was fine! Doing a DW is different anyway, who needs the typical stuff!

I don't have a monogram either.  I honestly don't think it is a big deal.  I do have 2 palm trees as my general theme though so anything I ordered personalized like napkins and matches, have a matching theme.  I honestly think your wedding should be however you want it to be.

Your wedding should be according to your dreams, your aesthetic, your vision and your rules. You don't have to have a monogram. Many ladies do it simply because they are excited about the look of their name joining with their partners and the common theme that it can bring to the event. Lots of brides don't do it cause they simply aren't in to it. Its YOUR wedding you should definitely do what you want, its perfectly fine and you're not missing out on anything.

I bought 5 monograms for $15 and was so excited to get them but I really haven't used them for anything other than to make custom postage stamps with one of them.

I would have never even gotten them had it not been for this forum.  I have 3 and have used 1.  Perhaps when I get down to making my OOT bags, I will find more use for them.  I dont think its a huge deal either way.
