November Thanksgiving wedding anyone?

Has anyone heard of a Thanksgiving destination wedding? Would you recommend? I am sure most people may not b/c of the holiday, but can anyone share input?

We considered  a thanksgiving wedding however we wanted to have the wedding at a small hotel and the ones we checked did not allow weddings over the holiday weekend because it's a major money making time for them. I think it shouldn't be a problem with an AI or a bigger resort but you should check with them first.  That said, I think its a great time to do a destination wedding because people already have the time off from work.
