@delgado,

I was going through some planning DIY threads this morning. Rosieposie, a BDW bride, used http://www.weddingclipart.com to print free templates so I thought I'd give it a look and see. While going through pink invitations, I came across http://www.weddingclipart.com/images-templates/pink-invitation.html and thought of you.

You always on top of things so you probably already have your invites printed and ready to go, but I thought I'd share anyway.

Happy planning!

P.S. You're welcome about your previous post. I'm happy to help.

@delgadot,

Hope your wedding planning is going well. This morning while scurrying around for some aqueduct pictures I came across the following BDW post that you might appreciate (http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/thread/34054/iberostar-rose-hall-brides-post-all-info-questions-here/1890).

This bride hired a golf cart directly from the golf course directly for $20USD.  Maybe you can do that, too, if you want your bridal party to not only get to the beach (via a Reggae Tours) but also go on the tour with you at a reasonable cost. I think we will hire one to help our older and/or our disabled guests get around.

Hope this helps. Happy planning!

Thank you so much for that information I did not realize that the Aqueducts and private beach were that far apart from each other I had assumed we would be able to just walk over so I will definitely have to keep renting a golf cart in mind as an option :) Thanks again!

As far as the planning goes I am in frequent contact with Alisha I am always e-mailing her pictures of things I see that I like and as always she is so nice and responsive. I have a word document set up so every time I see something I like I save it on there to keep all of my ideas/inspiration in one place. I am right now just waiting for my guests to start booking their reservations. Have you had any guests book their trip yet?

@delgadot,

Actually, you CAN walk from the Aqueduct to the beach. It's only about a three minute walk We are only hiring a cart for our older and/or disabled friends and family. And, I was only suggesting that you could hire one too if you wanted your bridal party to go on the golf cart tour with you and your then hubby. I hope that is clearer. Sorry, if I confused you.

I let out a little giggle at your question about guests booking. We haven't even settled on a hotel yet. As a matter of fact, we haven't even sent out our save the dates yet. I'm sooooooo far behind you in execution even though my wedding is two weeks earlier.

For a while I was leaning towards the Iberostar (and we still might go that way in the end), but lately I've been considering the Coyaba. I have a lot of family who either live in Jamaica or who will be staying with family in Jamaica making it very expensive to get guest passes for ancillary wedding events. The thing about Coyaba is that their guest passes are $25 pp, but even though it's an older hotel (with no elevator), it is almost as expensive as the IRHB, which is all inclusive (and children under 12 stay and eat free). So I'm at an impasse.

I know there is a discussion on the IRHB page about how to tell guests about guest fee passes, but one of the main reasons we chose HH was to allow everyone to stay where they could afford without worrying about incurring guest passes. So I've decided to take it one step at a time. First we'll send out our STDs in early October in which we will ask our guests whether they think they will come, need flight, hotel, meals (AI), flight only, or hotel only (some of my family work for the airlines). Once we have some numbers, then I will use that info to try to negotiate a rate at one of the four hotels still on my list (IRBH, Coyaba, Solis Palmyra, Half Moon).

So that's the long answer. The short answer is no, we haven't had anyone book yet. LOL.

I'm keeping a MS document too with all of my inspiration and ideas, but lately I've been wondering if I'm planning too much. This site is filled with so many inspirational ideas, I find it hard not to want to incorporate everything into our wedding especially since we picked a DW so I wouldn't have as much to do.  But, there are enough DIY projects on here too keep me busy for a very long time.

At the same time the site has been encouraging me not too spend too much money. One bride mentioned that she didn't spend too much on centerpieces because she asked everyone she knew about the centerpieces at the last wedding she went to and no one remembered what they looked like. So I thought of all of the weddings we attended, I couldn't remember the darn centerpieces, except the one where we got to take them home. What I do remember is table cards, but no centerpieces. So I am asking myself, "why are we spending so much money on floral centerpieces when they are so insignificant and we can't even let our guests take them home"?

Do you know what are you doing for centerpieces?
