HI Nat, so did you buy it? I never did understand that whole issue of not letting people take pics. Every designer copies another and dresses are sold in so many stores. Miami I guess is so competitive, when you tell a bride she can't take pics she just walks out so even the high end salons let you take pics, the most they do sometimes is limit you to one and they take it for you with your camera. Let us know which one you decide.....try to sneak a pic with your phone when you try it on.....lol. I know I am bad, but super excited to hear how things go.

I vote #1 I love Love Love this.....I wish I could have gotten a gown like this But the mermaid/trumpet looks silly on me...smh...Let us know how it goes when you mom comes in!

Janine, I had a wedding dress try-on extravaganza day on Saturday, and finally got to see the Lazaro in real life. It's hard in Calgary, being a small city (about 1 million people), each boutique is basically "exclusive" to a designer. So the one that carries Lazaro (S2 Bridal) is the only store to see that label. So on and so forth for other designers (Alvina Valenta at another, Priscilla at another, etc).

 

I haven't bought it yet. I'm from Toronto, so my mom and sister are flying here over the next few weeks to check out dresses with me. It's lots of fun shopping with my girlfriends but I absolutely need my mom and sister to seal the deal (not to mention my mom is the one buying the dress - Thanks Mom!!!).

 

Funny enough, every other store let me take pictures. I have a crappy iPhone photo of myself in Dress #2 which I'll post when I get home. They both look great (and make me feel great!) but I am no model in size! Curvy size 12 girl!

Thanks MysTea! I NEVER expected mermaid/trumpet style to be so flattering on me. I thought I would look better in princess/a-line but they were terrible!!!! I need a dropped waist at least, but LOVE fitted past the hips. You never know till you try! (and then sometimes you do and wish you didn't, lol).
