Could you not have a full greek family party when you return home including some of the traditions your family feel they are missing. x

I agree with everyone else, ultimately its your day not your parents. My FI parent's really don't like the idea of our DW either as they are religious and wanted us to get married in a catholic church. However, we've been strong with them and just told them this is what we want.
