Passport invitation and/or pre-wedding brochure

I had planned on sending out Passport Style Invitations around 6 months before the wedding and for this to contain information about flights, accommodation, useful travel information etc. Since reading through this forum, I've seen that some people have sent pre-travel brochures containing all of this information (and some have sent a luggage tage which I love!).

 

My question is, has anyone sent a pre-travel brochure who has already sent a detailed passport invitation? Is there any point doing both?
