Looks like the Riviera Maya and Cancun could be in a bit of trouble depending on how this storm tracks over the next few days. Anyone who is going to be there over the next week or so make sure to check with your travel insurance companies and keep an eye out with airlines for advisories.

We were in Playa this time last year. Luckily there was a tropical storm on the opposite side of the coast and we just got the usual intermittent bursts of rain. Do we know if anyone from BDW is down there or planning on heading down there soon?
