All Inclusive Resort Wedding

Hi everybody!

 

We are planning for a destination wedding in Dominican Republic with a reception back home... and that's about as far as the decisions have gotten, eventhough we have been looking since MAY! LOL. We know we want an all inclusive resort and that we want to be married on the beach. But we have no idea which resort!? Any suggestions? Also, I read on another page about VIP travel agents, has anybody worked with them? Any suggestions would help A LOT! It is so overwhelming  I don't know where to start!!

Do you know which part of the DR you would like to get married?   There are three main areas 1. Puerto Plata, 2.  Punta Cana & 3. La Romana.   Check out the reviews in each of the areas.   Also think about what you are looking for in a resort and see which ones best fit your and the guests needs.  For example are there kids coming to the wedding?  If so you may look into Family friendly resorts or if there are no kids coming than an adult only resort might be better for you.  Are you party animals or just like to relax there are some resorts that are more party than others. Etc.

I agree it can be really daunting!!

First you need to figure out a price range, will children be attending, and which part of the DR you want to stay in. Once those three are narrowed down start looking at resorts in those prices ranges and the wedding packages they provide. Also, check out the reviews on this site..they are very helpful when trying to find a resort! Good Luck!
