Photographer from home?

hello ladies, we're debating about whether bring a photographer from home or using a photographer from Jamaica.  Pro's and con's to both, but overall they're pretty even for me.

Has anyone had good or bad experiences that they could share?  My only nagging thing about bringing the photographer from home is that they wont know the "good spots" to take us for the TTD photoshoot and that was something i really wanted to do!
