does anyone else get sever stomach cramps after eating the most normal things??

today i went to lunch at Chili's and had this salad that I love and have had before. Now i'm back and my desk hunched over in stomach pain. It doesn't happen to me often, but it happens with the weirdest stuff.

nope. i drink milk all the time.

last new years we went to mexico, and ever since i've had weird stomach issues.... Joe and I were both so sick after mexico we literally spent an entire week on the couch. I got "better" but still have random lapses when it feels like my stomach is going to explode inside of me

I get it with certain things I eat. There is a Japanese place that does it to me every time. So, I do not eat Japanese at all anymore. Also, if I have to much bubbly stuff, like pop, then my stomach kills. I have to pretty well avoid pop now and I used to drink 1 a day. It just happened one day, and now it happens almost every time.

could you have gotten a parasite somehow? I don't imagine that's as common in Mexico as it is other places that I've heard of....but maybe that would explain why it's not "over" yet??

But that being said...there are certain things that I used to eat on occasion that do bother me now. For no apparent reason, just happens. I chalk it up to getting older or something. ;-)

I'm not sure what kind of stomach pains you mean...

I used to get gas pains a LOT. These consisted of sharp, stabbing pains/cramps in my stomach that would leave me hunched over in tears unable to move. Absolutely terrible.

I haven't had one in a LONG time ::crossing fingers::.

what about any sort of gluten reaction? seafood? maybe you could try writing down what you ate each time you get this to see if there's a pattern. and i suppose, basically keep a food journal for a while since it would be helpful to know what DIDN'T make you feel thsi way either.

I was going to say Gluton as well. It's pretty much in everything so that could explain the weirdness. Otherwise I have stomach problems with carbs. Or it could be something completely not related to food. Write down what day of the month it happens on. perhaps it happens when you ovulate (I have that too).
