DJ Question

OK I dont know if anyone can tell me this, but when you hire a DJ if they do not have the songs you want in their list of songs can you give them a cd or MP3 of the songs you want? Or can they only use whats on their list?

You tell them what you want and they usually get it for you. Some might take your copy, but mostly they will go out and get it so that they have it for the future as well.

I havent hired anyone yet. We are looking into Keep Them Dancing. My sisters friend has used them for years and likes the company a lot and they are a great price!

Who did your sister hire?

I would think most (good) DJs would be willing to get any songs that you wanted. Our DJ in Cancun has been really good about that. We sent a long list of songs we definitely wanted at our reception. The said they would get any song we wanted if they didn't have it already. In the event that they were unable to obtain it, we could bring a CD w/ the song. So far we haven't had any problems.

Ya, I agree - your DJ would probably get all the requested songs on their own, unless there is a problem finding them.

ours got all the songs on his own, we sent him a list of songs we really wanted and he took care of it.
