Standing During Ceremony?

Recommended Posts

I agree with the last few posts - standing up does not sound very fun, especially in the sand if its really hot. Also Im sure a lot of the ladies will be wearing heals which will sink in the sand and be very uncomfortable

I would talk to Tammy B from Tammy B Photography.  She photographed a wedding there and I'm pretty positive they all stood.  You could get her feelings on that.

From a photographers stand point, it's REALLY hard to take photographs with everyone standing.  Perhaps you could do three or four rows of chairs for your immediate family and then those who don't feel they could stand that long in the heat.  Maybe place them more in a half circle shape and then people can stand behind them?

I miss having the edit button :(

But anyways, by having SOME people sit and some people stand, you won't have to fight to see so much.  If 85 people are standing, odds are pretty good they won't be able to see the ceremony.

Thanks for everyones thoughts! I'm back at square one cheesy.gif

Perhaps I will do as many chairs as we can fit. My other thought was putting blankets and pillows down on the sand for those that wanted to sit.

Cougs, there should definitely be enough room for people to stand as they can stand wider and form a U shape around us. I've looked at many pictures of the beach from all different angles and if they stand in a U formation everyone should be able to have a good view of us.

Tiseege, I will contact Tammy B, thanks for the thoughts!
