Zuniga Deco Cancun - Prices

Recommended Posts

Yes I did, she was just like let me send you another picture and it was basically the same but in red. She was like if you don't like it then pick something else. So I went with a low centerpiece that hopefully they can't mess up. I really am over spending so much and who really is going to care after the wedding is over.

Did you talk to Katie about this already? What did she say?

Yeah, I'm trying not to overcomplicate my centerpieces either, but I don't feel that I'm asking for much. I did send her an e-mail with colors and types of tablecloths I wanted for both of our ballroom events... and she hasnt' gotten back to me yet to know if they even have them...

So we'll see...

Well... yes they will take pictures of what you want to do...however actual pcitures of their products are not always exactly like you sent them pics of. I have seen some comments about this in the blog. They have a  way of sending generic pics out about centerpiece choices...and once I asked them for a photo of a centerpiece at a recent event and it looked very different. And pricey is an understatement when it comes to flowers especially. they have been hard to negotiate with...

My understanding so far is that Zuniga can pretty much create whatever you want, but sometimes they can be a bit pricey (although I did hear that they are always willing to negotiate too).

Hope this helps!

are the white avant garde chairs the ones that fold??? and the ones you typically outside? I was worried that these wouldn't look right indoors, but at this point...it's better than buying chaircovers to cover ugly chairs PLUS sashes.

I was rudely surprised when another bride sent me a pic of what they actually did vs the pic they provided me. I had asked for a high centerpiece with a tree branch and then candles hanging off. What they actually did for another wedding was hideous. It look like they took twigs from my backyard and stuck them in a flower pot. It was not high and the amount of flowers in the vase was so small.  I had to changed my centerpieces b/c it was not worth the $115 they were going to charge.

I believe they have *some* colors. but they will definitely be cheaper to just buy yourself and sell on here later. If you're willing to take another luggage of linens to save money- it'll be worth it. I saw a picture of a beautiful lace overlay in some pictures---- dude like $60 a PIECE TO ONLY RENT IT!

Do you guys know if Zuniga has a wide selection of linens? Do they charge $30 for each across the board or does it vary by the type of linen and shape?

Do they have different fabrices (i.e. crinkled taffeta, satin, poly etc)?

Do they different shapes and sizes (i.e. round, square, rectangle, etc)?

We spent the past few weeks getting together our ballroom layouts for 2 events (the night before) and the reception layout... we just finalized those, and now we're onto decor (aka the fun stuff)! I'm getting a ton of quotes now, so I'll pass them along as I get them!

Just last week I asked Katie to do a "show and tell" with me at my WC meeting...so the TUesday before the Saturday wedding she's going to set up two tables for me with linens and sashes and all...with two of the options for centerpieces that I am considering....SHE WAS MORE THAN WILLING TO DO THIS! AND SHE DIDN'T MENTION ANY CHARGE...AND I AIN'T ASKING EITHER!

This was my only way to "rest assured" that there are no surprises on wedding day

Thanks Amara. I actually looked into buying some or renting some here and taking them with me, but here's what I found.

The round tables are about 72". So if you get the tablecloths that hit the floor, you need about 132" tablecloths, which run about $20/piece... then if you get different materials, the price goes up from there. I also inquired about renting from a few places and the cost was still between $20-$25 each.

Plus we have 20+ tables, so taking that much weight with us just didn't seem worth it -- I'd rather pay $5-$10 more and save us the hassle...
