Hey Melody,

I don't know if your still on the forum, but I read you were doing the Chic and Natural theme. I also picked that theme!woot.gif

Our favorite wedding gazebo is not on the map, but it is tucked away on the Caribbean side next to the Garden Rondovals (#9 on the map).  It is very private and we loved it.  Do not be concerned about the ceremony and decor not looking like the pictures.  It was exactly like the pictures and the wedding department on site was very professional and knowledgeable.

Yes, I'm still on here.  I am so excited for the wedding...a little over 4 months away!  Our friends and family have started to book so it's all coming together now.  We are so excited to have a wedding week, not just a one day event!  I love the Chic and Natural theme.  I can't wait to see it in person with the fresh orchids.  So beautiful!!!!!

Congrats that's awesome! What flowers did you choose for your bouquets? I'm having a hard time with those. What color are you BM dresses?

I am having an ivory rose bouquet and giving my flowers from the package to my MOH.  I have a flower on my dress and the rose bouquet looks best with my dress.  No decision on the MOH dress yet (I'm only having one person on each side).  I know, I need to make a decision this week!!  I am leaning towards a long gold or tan dress for her.  What have you decided on?  Also, are you getting a dance floor put down for the reception area outside?

I don't know what I'm going to do with those flowers from the original Chic theme. I have to figure that one out. My BM dresses are apple green. I was thinking of doing the yellow roses for them mixed with the green orchids or whatever the green thing is dyllibruim..or something like that.

I think I am also doing the ivory rose bouquet mixed with the calla lillies and I'll add bouquet jewels.

For the moms we will do callalillies and yellow roses corsages. And the groomsmen and grooms are up in the air as of now....

I'm not sure exactly where my reception is going to be at. I will do my best to pick one out before hand but I think we will have to see it in person to make the final decision.  Also it depends on how many guests book. We expect 75-100 guests, so some places only hold to 75, while others have more space. So either way I have to wait on that decision.

Where and When is your wedding again? I tried to look at your profile but no updates..

I love th gold dress ideas! I want to find a gold dress for my mom.

Our wedding is in Antigua, May 3, 2011.  We're having about 30 people come with us.  Since we're having a 3 hour reception, I think we'll need the dance floor.  It's just another extra and I'm not sure what most people usually do.  I don't want to have to worry about my little heels sinking in the grass for my special dance.  I'm convincing myself pretty easily that we'll need the dance floor. cheesy.gif  What about your DJ?  Are you preparing a list for them?  Are you concerned about the music selection?  I asked my WC for their list and she said I need to provide my list to them.  That seems like a lot of extra work for me.  What are you girls doing for music?

Hi Ladies!!!

I have been reading through the threads...my fiance and I decided to scrap our traditional wedding in out hometown for an intimate weddingmoon at Sandals Grande Antigua (much more romantic, less stressful, and cheaper!!). We have not booked the weddingmoon yet, but are planning on doing so within the next couple weeks for November 2011. Any advice that you ladies could offer would be great! The wedding will be just my fiance and I and we were thinking about upgrading to the Vision in White theme...not sure how that works when there are only the two of us there (no guests). We were thinking about an evening ceremony on the beach and hoping to do a candlelight dinner on the beach right after (since we won't have guests to have a reception). The only worry I have about the destination wedding is the hair/makeup and the transporting of my dress! Any advice would be extremely helpful!! cheesy.gif

Thanks!
