Unique location for ceremony and reception

My fiance and I are looking for a unique, off the beaten path type venue for our wedding ceremony and reception next year.  We really like the look and feel of the Haiku Sugar Mill ruins in Maui and are looking for something similar in Oahu.  We are focusing on keeping the venue in Oahu because that's where all my family lives.  One place we found that seems interesting is the Kualoa Ranch and sugar mill ruins, but it's not quite all that we are looking for.

 

Anyone have other suggestions for vintage or not your typical touristy wedding?  It doesn't have to be a beach setting.

Have you tried http://www.kualoa.com/ ?  I love this place!  If it wasn't so far outside where we're gonna be, this would be my place.  You get to take a little boat across an ancient koi pond!!  If you're interested PM me with your email and I can send you all the information/brochures Robin (so great to talk to and very quick at getting your information) sent me.

Oh that is beautiful!  We ended up with Paradise Cove - it's the only thing he's really had an opinion about, so I let him decide.  He loved having the ocean on one side and Diamond Head on the other.  They are a little hard to work with though - very strict on time.
