Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel

Has anyone stayed at the Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel in Honolulu? If so how did you like it? We wanted to stay there, as its fairly cheap for being right next to the beach with ocean front rooms.

I really like this hotel, and what I like is that it is not close to the main area of the beach, it is closer to the end, so it is a little bit quieter.

 

The hotel staff are really great too, pleasant and friendly, and there are some great resto's around the corner from the hotel. 

 

The price is quite nice too.

That hotel looks nice.  We're looking at http://www.kaimana.com/ The New Otani Kaimana Beach Hotel.  The have decent prices and it's on the beach - anyone know anything about this hotel?

I have stayed here twice. I love it.

Only downside is that their rooms are quite small.

For our wedding we got ready here and got a suite which was bigger

I can highly recommend staying here.

We booked the junior suite, as it was much bigger and not that much more than an ocean front room. The only thing is that are the views just as nice?

We had views of Waikiki Beach looking towards the pink palace in our junior suite.
